10 ml -- Ketorolac Ophthalmic Solution is a sterile topical medication used to treat inflammation within the eye. Ketorolac inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which in turn decreases the inflammatory response within the eye. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug NSAID used in the treatment of certain types of anterior uveitis and iritis. It is particularly helpful in the control of chronic uveitis where long-term topical corticosteroids may be detrimental. It is also given as a pre-operative and post-operative anti-inflammatory medication to reduce uveitis associated with eye surgery. Ketorolac is widely used for treating seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in people and may have similar benefits in dogs and cats.
